Liz of Herkimer Diamonds

Liz is a Herkimer Diamond prospector, guide, and small-business owner who has spent the last several years working directly in the Herkimer Diamond quartz deposits. What began as a personal discovery on her own property grew into a hands-on career in mining, collecting, and helping others experience the process of finding crystals in their natural environment.

Liz approaches the work from the ground up—digging, opening material, and learning each layer of the geology through experience rather than theory. Her focus is on providing honest access to the land, respecting the locality, and keeping the tradition of Herkimer collecting rooted in real fieldwork
